Hi kids! I'm Casey. I'm 23, and I still don't have a real job. I knit like a Grandma, and I like pretty things. I went to a prestigious music school on the East Coast and moved to Los Angeles to "make it" with my boyfriend (we'll call him 'W') who actually is "making it" while I try to "find myself."

Wrapped in Purls is a lifestyle blog with an emphasis on my excessive use of knitting and design as a coping mechanism while trying to survive the pandemonium of my twenties.

I'm a musician, a creator, a scaredy-cat, an artist, a designer, a smartass, a hobbyist, a thinker, an introvert, an over-thinker, a bitch, a lover, a child, a mother (well not really, but you get it.)

I live in an apartment, and I believe that even if you are living in limited means, you can still live in a beautiful place. You don't need paint, a ton of money, or a garage full of tools to be able to DIY or customize your space.

I believe in finding happiness in the little things.  I'm always trying to find ways to make myself better, and I'm hoping to inspire and be inspired. I want to force myself to do the things I've always wanted to do by giving myself an outlet to share those things. So one of these days maybe I will actually upholster a headboard!
